In today’s competitive job market, it is increasingly difficult to get a job without a college degree. 21-year-old Satish Ganvit was facing a similar situation — as a 10th pass student, he was finding it difficult to get a well paid and stable job.

Hailing from a small village in Gujarat, Satish then decided to enrol in the Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre (SDC). Satish enrolled in the Office Assistant course, through which he was trained in data management, data entries, file management and telephonic communication. Through the 150-hour course, he was also introduced to an accounting software and learned crucial soft skills such as communication, leadership, and time management.

Gradually, Satish developed confidence is his abilities and began applying for jobs. Ultimately, he was successful in getting a job offer from Welspun India, an international textile manufacturing company present in over 50 countries across the world. Satish is currently employed in the Vapi manufacturing plant of Welspun as an office executive!
