Jayesh Tumbda, a 12th standard graduate, is currently a successful entrepreneur who runs his own computer and electronics repair shop in Dharampur, Gujarat. Instead of opting for the traditional route of taking up a job, Jayesh decided that he wanted to build his own career.

Jayesh enrolled in the Office Assistant course at Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre (SRSDC), a place where less privileged youth receive vocational and soft skills training at no cost. Over the 150-hour long course, Jayesh was trained in data entry, file management, telephonic communication, and was also introduced to an accounting software. Through this training, he soon developed confidence in his own abilities and decided to take the next step of opening his very own business.

Today, Jayesh’s small business is blossoming! In addition to computer repair, Jayesh also offers a service through which he helps people fill online forms. It’s inspiring to see how young talent can shine when they are given the right training and opportunity.
