Varde Chendarbhai Tulsiram, a farmer hailing from a rural village near Nashik, Maharashtra was in dire need of cattle to help facilitate his farming operation. He enrolled in the Shrimad Rajchandra Cattle Rehabilitation Programme, where cattle saved from slaughter are rehabilitated to farmers for helping their livelihood. The programme also ensures that cattle get secure housing.
