Shrimad Rajchandra Distribution of Essential Aids for Respite [DEAR] involves mass distribution of utility items to the needy. We distribute clothing, blankets, toys, cooking utensils, footwear, sanitary and hygiene kits and school stationery to thousands every year.
There are 2.3 crore homeless people in India. Without proper shelter, changes in weather cause mass illness and displacement, particularly during the monsoon and winter seasons.
During the monsoons, we distribute tarpaulin sheets and raincoats to keep people dry and to provide necessary shelter. Before the chilly winter sets in, we distribute blankets and kits comprising of head-gear, foot cream and vaporub.
Economically deprived people are also provided footwear, clothing and stationery items.
